Best Payout Online Casinos: Payout Rates and RTP Checks (2026)

Maya Sterling
Written by Maya Sterling.

The best payout online casinos are the ones where your games return the most money to players over time, measured as return to player (RTP). That is a different question from how fast a casino pays you. As of November 2026, none of the 22 casinos we have reviewed publishes an audited, casino-wide payout percentage in our review data, so we do not rank casinos by a single payout figure.

What we can show is evidence: which reviewed casinos have a named third-party fairness check or provably fair games, and how to find high-RTP games at any of them. Five of our reviews name such a check: Red Stag, Las Vegas USA, Cloudbet, Loki and the sweepstakes casino Chumba. PeakyCasino earns a commission when you sign up through some links on our site. Commissions do not change the data in our tables, which come from our published casino reviews.

What does “best payout” mean at an online casino?

A casino’s payout rate is the share of all money wagered that comes back to players as winnings. A 96% payout rate means $96 returned for every $100 wagered across all players over a very long period; the remaining $4 is the house edge.

Payout rate is a long-run average across millions of bets. It says nothing about a single session, and it is not a promise of what you will get back. Return to player (RTP) is the same idea applied to one game. Our guide to return to player (RTP) explains the math.

Payout speed is a separate attribute: how long a withdrawal takes. If that is what you are after, see our fastest payout casinos.

Which reviewed casinos have independent fairness checks?

Five of our 22 reviews name a third-party audit, RNG certification or provably fair system. The other 17 reviews do not name an auditor, which does not prove the games are unfair, but it gives you less to verify.

Casino Licence (our review data) Fairness evidence named in our review Listed crypto payout window (November 2026)
Red Stag Casino Curacao Certified Fair Gambling, a third-party auditor that verifies RTP integrity Within 48 business hours (all methods)
Las Vegas USA Casino None listed in our review data Technical Systems Testing (TST) RTP certification; third-party reviewers describe the certificate as several years old 2 business days (Bitcoin)
Cloudbet Casino Curacao Provably fair in-house games (Dice, Wheel, Diamonds) that players can verify round by round Instant to 24 hours
Loki Casino None stated in its current terms RNG certification and provably fair games listed; auditor not named Instant
Chumba Casino Malta iTechLabs and Gaming Associates audits (sweepstakes casino; prizes are redeemed, not withdrawn) No crypto; see review

An audit tells you the random number generator (RNG) and the published RTPs were tested at some point. It does not tell you which RTP version a slot runs at today. Check the certificate date and scope where the casino links it, and treat an old certificate as weaker evidence. Jozz’s review, for example, notes that no eCOGRA certification is publicly documented.

Why don’t we publish a payout percentage for each casino?

We only publish payout figures that come from an audited report we can cite, and none of our reviewed casinos provides one in our review data. A casino-wide percentage also depends on what players choose to play, so it changes month to month.

Lists that give every casino a precise payout rate, such as 97.8%, rarely say who audited the figure or for which period. Without the auditor, the date and the game mix, the number cannot be checked. When a casino publishes a dated payout report from a named testing lab, we will add it to its review.

How do you find the highest paying games?

Choose games by their own RTP, not by the casino’s reputation. The same casino can host a slot at 96% and another at 88%, and table games with simple rules usually return more than side bets.

Game type Where to find its payout rate What lowers it
Online slots RTP in the game’s info or paytable screen Lower-RTP versions of the same slot; jackpot contributions
European roulette Fixed by the wheel: one zero gives a 2.70% house edge (97.30% RTP) Playing American roulette (two zeros, 5.26% house edge)
Blackjack Rules panel: number of decks, dealer rules, blackjack payout 6:5 blackjack payouts, dealer hitting soft 17, not using basic strategy
Video poker Paytable for full-house and flush payouts Reduced paytables on the same game
Live dealer games Rules or help screen at the table Side bets, which usually carry a higher house edge

Many slots are released in several RTP versions, and the casino picks which one to run. Always check the info screen in the casino you are playing at, not the provider’s headline figure. Start with our lists of high RTP slots, and read slot machine odds for how volatility changes the experience at the same RTP. For table games, see online blackjack, video poker and online roulette.

How do you check a casino’s payout rate yourself?

Verify the licence, the auditor and the game settings, in that order. Each step takes a few minutes and removes most of the guesswork.

  1. Check the licence in the casino footer and the regulator’s register. Our reviews list the licence for each casino; seven of the 22 have none listed in our review data as of November 2026.
  2. Look for a named testing lab and open its certificate. Note the date and whether it covers RTP or only the RNG.
  3. Open the info screen of each game you play and read its RTP.
  4. For provably fair games, use the casino’s verification tool on a few past rounds.
  5. Read the withdrawal limits. A high payout rate means little if a weekly cap holds back large wins.
  6. Check our casino blacklist and complaint history before you deposit.

Our rating methodology explains how licence, fairness evidence and payouts feed into each review score.

Does a high payout rate mean you will win?

No. A higher RTP lowers the expected cost of playing over many bets, but every casino game still has a house edge, and short sessions swing far above or below the average.

Volatility decides how those swings feel: high-volatility slots pay rarely but in larger amounts, while low-volatility games pay small amounts more often. Set a budget per session and read our guide to bankroll management before choosing games.

How do payout rate and payout speed work together?

A good real-money casino scores on both: games with published RTPs and withdrawals that arrive on time. At our reviewed casinos, crypto and e-wallet withdrawals are usually listed at instant to 24 hours as of November 2026, while wire and check payouts take days.

Withdrawal caps link the two. A winning session is only worth as much as the casino lets you withdraw, and caps among our reviewed casinos range from $500 per day (Las Vegas USA, entry tier) to no listed limit (1xBet, Cloudbet after Level 2 verification, and Wild Casino for BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC). For larger balances, compare high roller casinos, and for a broader shortlist see our real money casinos.

Set a deposit limit before you play and treat a withdrawal as money you keep, not money to redeposit. If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, see our responsible gambling guide or call 1-800-MY-RESET (US).
